Happy Belated 21st Birthday #1 Son!

Word of the Day

Blamestorming - A method of collectively finding one to blame for a mistake no one is willing to confess to. Often occurs in the form of a meeting of colleagues at work, gathered to decide who is to blame for a screw up.

DD Daughter and GI Joe have left the building. MC Daughter and #1 Son plan to leave later this afternoon. We had left-over bratwurst for lunch.

There was supposed to be frost last night. Temperatures dipping to below freezing. It never got that cold. Oh well...I suppose all that prancing around with sheets was good exercise. Knock on wood, I won't have to do the sheet dance again until this winter in Arizona...and hopefully, last winter's cold temperatures will have been an anomaly.

Noteworthy Quote of the Day

Graduation day is tough for adults. They go to the ceremony as parents. They come home as contemporaries. After twenty-two years of child-raising, they are unemployed. -- Erma Bombeck
