Word of the Day

Aluminumish - Anything that looks like, is made of, or resembles aluminum.

Remember all that heavy equipment that's busy burying irrigation pipe near our house? I heard a snippet of news on my morning radio yesterday about an Indian casino moving to the southern part of our part of town here in Arizona. Guess what? HTP clipped out a news article from our local rag that detailed this Indian casino and its move to....drum roll, please....a block from my house. Gee! I could actually walk there. I shudder when I think about all the traffic that this is going to produce in an area where the traffic is already a problem. HTP doesn't think it'll cause any added security issues but I have my doubts. This is definitely going to impact our neighborhood and the surrounds. I hate to think about how it'll impact the value of our house. I guess I'd better get used to the heavy equipment noise. The news article claims that there will be a brand new Indian casino REALLY close to my Arizona house by the fall of 2008. I can wait. I can wait.
