Only 38 Days Left Before We Leave For Arizona

And now for today's weather...

A hurricane with the moniker of Ivan the Terrible is fixing to hit the gulf coast later tonight or early tomorrow morning. The news media have already sent their poor correspondents out to stand in the rain and the wind.

Here at The Lake, the weather has been "iffy". There is no way that I would want to be out on the lake today. It's just too windy. We under a tornado watch too. We've had a bit over 1" of rain last night and this morning. Periodically dark threatening clouds dominate the sky. At times the sun shines brightly from blue skies. But always the wind is blowing. Rarely have I seen the wind blow this hard here at The Lake. It's not hurricane force winds but it's pretty dang windy.

And to make things worse? I haven't been able to get onto Pogo this afternoon. What am I paying for?
